A relationship between Rocketseed and USB which began in 2006, Rocketseed is applied a variety of intelligent, dynamic banner designs to every outbound email featuring multiple links, sender and receiver segmentation, and unified signatures.

 

Objectives

 

The University of Stellenbosch Business School had a specific requirement for a stable, self-managed email marketing tool, which was not only easy to use but cost effective. Highlighting valuable information via everyday emails was an essential need; however reporting was also a critical element. USB had a need to track the interest levels of each campaign running. Having multiple divisions within USB, it was required for each division to market their own identity. The need for a central managed signature tool that could produce English and Afrikaans versions of a staff members details was necessity.

 

Results

 

The leading business school used Rocketseed to its full potential enabling brand reinforcement, multi languages, effective tracking of campaign success and recipient interest and finally specifically to increase in the reach of targeted campaigns and messages in order to improve student interaction. An instant improvement on interaction was reflected by additional 100-130 clicks per weekly campaign run and on a consistent increase.

 

The use of RocketMailer functionality has enabled USB to keep in touch with their ever-growing database of alumni and clients. Every newsletter integrates social media, with a layout designed specifically to work with ease on the eye to move across the page with the links in the appropriately placed to increase the click through performance. The weekly newsletter received an average of 473 clicks, which is 20% of the distribution interacting.
