Phillips Family Office – founded in 1979 by Michael Phillips – is a privately-owned leading financial advisory and investment management firm offering a financial concierge service that spans tax structuring, estate planning, accounting, investment monitoring and long-term wealth strategies designed for intergenerational wealth transfer.


The firm’s clients range from corporations and businesses to young professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, self-funded retirees and multi-generational families.


The Brief / Objectives


Phillips Family Office came to Rocketseed with clear marketing communication objectives; to increase touch points with their existing clients and promote their full-range of services; to keep clients up to date with relevant changes in the financial sector as featured in their weekly “Tidbits” newsletter; and to drive qualified traffic to their website. Importantly, they wanted to engage their entire staff in building their brand, whilst centrally controlling their brand identity usage and ensuring legal compliance.


The Campaign


To immediately make all staff ‘brand ambassadors’, Rocketseed introduced centrally-controlled branded signatures across all employee outbound email, featuring a trackable link to the Phillips Family Office website and a trackable FSG (Financial Services Guide) download for legal compliance.


These emails were then made ‘promotional’ through the application of Rocketseed Email Media interactive banners carrying targeted, relevant – and importantly, clickable -campaign messages relating to the product and service range, tailored both to existing and potential clients. Critically, the emails generated real-time notifications of when they were viewed and which links were clicked, enabling targeted follow-up.


Rocketseed also implemented Rocketmailer for the sending of the firm’s weekly “Tidbits” newsletter, with the platform’s statistical reporting giving a clear analysis of which content was resonating with their clients and prospects.


The Results


As a direct result of their Rocketseed Email Media and Rocketmailer campaign over the last 18 months, Phillips Family Office have generated substantial additional business across their full service offer including self-managed superannuation funds, estate plans and mortgages as well as other accounting and aged-care services.
