The Koneru Lakshmaiah Charities was established as a trust in the year 1980 with its official address at Museum road, Governor pet, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and started KL College of Engineering in the Academic year
1980-81. The trust was converted into a Society by the name Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation in the year 1996.
The KL College of Engineering has attained autonomous status in the year 2006 and in February 2009, the Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation Society was recognized as Deemed to be University.

KLU being one of the biggest Universities in southern part of India had an imperative requirement of a dynamic platform to standardize and create uniformity in university processes & reporting. The university was using different software’s for various tasks and the most of the work was done through manual processes.
The University was facing challenges in managing everyday operations, like Marking Student Attendance, Managing reports, Scheduling Classes etc. These activities took lot of time of staff which led to delay in other important activities.
KL University’s one such challenge was the choice based registration processes which consumed approximately 2 months to finish
and required a team of 40 staff members including faculties to support the admission activity.
